RE-EVALUATION

The list of students who have qualified in the Aptitude Test and eligible to be called for interview based on the performance in the KVPY Aptitude Test held on Oct 30, 2011 was announced on 02.12.2011. Following this, many students have written to KVPY asking for their individual marks, the cut off marks for the interview, re-evaluation of the OMR answer sheet etc.

The selection for KVPY award is based on the marks secured in the Aptitude Test as well as the performance in the Interview.

We will respond to all the requests received from the students/parents by the end of Jan 2012.

The cut off marks for different streams are as under:                         

• Stream SA- 50 marks out of 100
  
• Stream SB- 45 marks out of 100
  
• Stream SX- 50 marks out of 100

For re-evaluation of OMR answer sheet, the student has to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of KVPY payable at Bangalore with a covering letter indicating the stream, application/seat number on or before 31st Dec 2011. Requests after the deadline of Dec 31 will not be entertained.
