All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] recently launched the COVID-19 national bioinformatics online hackathon. All the interested candidates can take part in the hackathon by registering themselves before 26th April 2020. As per the latest report, the hackathon event conducts between 27th April and 6th May 2020. At the time of the hackathon event, the participating teams must build a full stack of community health information system apps alongside some of the mobile responsive portals for different states across India.
There are specific eligibility criteria for interested candidates. The candidates and the lecturers of various departments can register for the hackathon. This event is open to ICT faculty, professionals, and full-stack developers. It includes computer science, engineering institutes, arts and science institutes, information and communication technology, polytechnics, startup companies, and other IT full stackers. The participants need to be talented in building an app and mobile responsive web development within the tech stack limit.
The team needs to have adequate knowledge of Android studio app development and the skill in publishing on Google Play Store and online as well. The team comprises of faculties, IT professionals, students, and others. All of them take part in the event and completes the task. The candidates who participate in the hackathon must release APK and the developed app during the ongoing Hackathon event. Later, it must be published on Google Play Store and need to be web-hosted.
Further, the developed apps will be hosted for updation at the time of the first or second and final rounds. AICTE has announced that the altered version of the app shouldn’t be utilized for commercial requirements. For the best national and state full stackers, AICTE will give a cash prize and an award.
