All TS CETs 2020 Postponed Due to COVID-19 Lockdown

Telangana State Council of Higher Education [TSCHE] has postponed TS CETs 2020 registrations due to the extension of lockdown till 30th April 2020. The State Government of Telangana has deferred various Common Entrance Tests [CETs] in the state. Some of them include EdCET, PECET, PGECET, ECET, EAMCET, PGLCET, ICET, LAWCET and more. TSCHE has released this latest announcement today.

As per the latest notice released online, the concerned council has delayed the commencement of the TSCET 2020 application process. The State Government announced that the revised schedule for the examinations will be informed through the official website. The officials also announced the deadline for the payment of application fee and online registrations for all CETs is 5th May 2020. It is the revised extended last date for the application forms’ submission online without any penalty i.e., a late fee.

Originally, the concerned council has scheduled to conduct TS EAMCET 2020 in the 1st and 2nd weeks of May. Due to the lockdown extension across the nation imposed by the Indian Government, the CETs have been postponed. The Council has scheduled to conduct some other Common Entrance Tests in May earlier. It includes the TS Physical Education Common Entrance Test, TS ECET, TS ICET and more.

TS ECET is the exam organized to the diploma students seeking to get admissions into various courses. The TS Integrated Common Entrance Test is the examination organized to the aspirants looking forward to getting admissions into various MCA and MBA courses. Telangana is not the only State to postpone all the CETs in the state. The State Government of Andhra Pradesh also deferred all CETS that was planned to conduct in May. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic in the state and imposed lockdown, the Government of AP had to postpone the exams.
