We already knew that the board has postponed the 10th class exams of the students in AP. Now, another breaking news has been announced by the AP Government. This circular means that the students pursuing classes 6 to 9 will be promoted to the subsequent classes sans writing final exams. Besides Andhra Pradesh, the Governments of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Kendriya Vidyalayas also planned to mass promote the students of 1st to 8th classes.
On the other hand, the states of Punjab, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh have delayed the board exams of 10th, 12th, and other state-level exams. The mass promotion concept has come into the picture due to the outbreak of coronavirus all over the world. Even, the corresponding Governments of different states have decided to postpone the board exams to evade the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced his decision at a press conference on Thursday.
