The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education [APSCHE] has extended the deadline to submit application forms for AP Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test [EAMCET-2020] online. The council has earlier scheduled to organize AP EAMCET and 5 other CETs in September 2020. As per the latest report, the applicants can submit their online application forms for the AP EAMCET exam up to 15th September 2020. However, the candidates must pay a late fee of Rs. 10000 if they submit the application forms till 15th September.
APSCHE has scheduled to conduct the examination on 17th September 2020. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, the conducting body of AP EAMCET has already issued the hall ticket for the candidates who had registered for the exam at the official website – sche.ap.gov.in. Till now, about 272720 candidates have enrolled for the AP EAMCET 2020 examination online via the official website.
Besides EAMCET, the application submission process for 4 other Common Entrance Tests [CETs] has also been extended, the latest report says. It includes Physical Education Common Entrance Test (AP PECET), Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET), Law Common Entrance Test (AP LawCET), and Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET).
With a late fee of Rs. 2000, the registration process for the AP PGECET examination has been extended to 23rd September. The application form submission of AP EdCET has been extended to 25th September with a late fee of Rs. 500. The last date for AP LawCET application form submission has been extended to 25th September with a late fee of Rs. 2000. The AP PECET exam has also been extended to 25th September with a late fee of Rs. 500.
For all the aforementioned CETs in Andhra Pradesh, the last date for the registration has been extended with a prescribed late fee. In the state, the common entrance test has commenced with the Integrated Common Entrance Test [AP ICET 2020]. This exam was conducted on 10th and 11th September in a total of 4 sessions. Further, the AP Engineering Common Entrance Test [ECET] was conducted on 14th September 2020.
The concerned authorities have released an official statement that reads, ‘Due to COVID conditions many students could not submit their applications. The conveners and APSCHE are receiving representations from candidates for providing the last chance to submit the applications by paying the late fee as applicable.’ Moreover, the officials have increased the number of exam slots to provide adequate space for a lesser number of candidates in each slot considering the health of the students.
