The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh has released the timetable for Intermediate Supplementary examination. As per the latest press release, the supplementary exams will commence from 11th July 2020. The candidates who failed the intermediate exams in any of the streams can appear for these supply exams. The IPASE [Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examination] exams in AP will be organized between 11th July and 18th July 2020.
Besides the failed students, the candidates who tried to malpractice in the regular exams and found can take up these exams. Recently, the state education board has disclosed the AP Intermediate 1st and 2nd-year results on 12th July 2020. The students need to pay the application fee as well as the exam fee to appear for the supplementary exams. The exam fee for general 1st-year Intermediate students is Rs. 490 while the general 2nd-year students need to pay Rs. 680.
The exam fee for Intermediate 1st and 2nd-year vocational courses is Rs. 690 and Rs. 490 respectively. All the passed contenders in their 1st-year exams can take up the improvement exams, if interested. Those students need to pay Rs. 160 per each paper apart from the stipulated exam fee of Rs. 490. The 1st and 2nd-year intermediate exams will be conducted in two sessions i.e., forenoon and afternoon.
In the morning session, the 1st year exam will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 noon. The afternoon session exam begins from 2 PM and ends by 5 PM. On the other hand, the practical exams for the students will be organized between 1st and 4th July 2020 in two sessions. On 5th July 2020, the ethics and Human Values exam will be organized between 10 AM and 1 PM. Further, i.e., on 6th July 2020, the Environmental Education exam will be conducted between 10 AM and 1 PM. This year, a total of 10.17 lakh candidates have written the Intermediate exams in AP. Out of them, a total of 4.24 lakh students couldn’t clear the exams.
Besides taking part in the supplementary exams, the failed candidates can apply for revaluation or recounting. The students who are willing to apply for recounting need to pay Rs. 100 per exam. Upon finishing the application process, the verification of answer scripts will be done. For that, the students need to pay Rs. 600 per exam paper. The answer books can be examined thoroughly to find whether there is any counting mistake or posting by the students.
