The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh has recently released the revised datesheet for class 10 exams. Due to the nationwide lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis, the board officials have postponed the exams that were scheduled in March 2020. After almost a 2-month break due to the lockdown, BSEP has now released the new schedule for SSC examination. Earlier, the officials have decided to organize the 10th class exams in March.
As per the latest reports, the BSEAP authorities have planned to conduct the SSC exam 2020 between 10th and 17th July 2020. As per the latest schedule, the authorities have prepared in such a way that there is no gap between two exams. There is an examination on Sunday as well. In fact, the officials had to conduct the 10th class exams for a total of 11 subjects. But now, the officials of the board have decided to hold the exams for only 6 papers. This decision has been made due to the nationwide lockdown amid the COVID-19 crisis.
The exams will be organized in the morning session i.e., between 9.30 AM and 12.45 PM, according to the revised exam schedule. Adimulapu Suresh, the Education Minister of the state previously announced in some reports regarding the precautionary measures to curb the coronavirus spread. The Minister said, ‘The students will be made to sit at least one meter away to ensure social distancing as coronavirus can spread through the community and human transfer.’
The authorities of the board have made necessary seating arrangements following the strict instructions like social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Another important guideline for the students is that each student must use a face mask at the examination hall. Each subject has two papers for the SSC board exams. But, the officials have planned to merge both the papers and make it a single one in the upcoming 10th class exams.
