The entire country is currently following the nationwide lockdown imposed by the Indian Government in wake of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Among them, the Banaras Hindu University [BHU] has delayed the entrance examinations due to the lockdown extension until 3rd May 2020. As per the latest report, the revised schedule for the entrance exams will be declared soon post lifting the lockdown.
One of the officials from the University, Rajesh Singh told the news reporters regarding the postponement of the entrance exams. Earlier, the University has decided to hold the entrance exams for UG and PG courses on 26th April and 10th May 2020. The BHU SET exam 2020 was scheduled to be organized on 1st May 2020. All the remaining exams have been delayed by the concerned University.
The relevant authorities have decided to hold the UET exams in 45 cities while the PET exams were decided to hold in and across 115 cities. These two exams will be organized in two shifts i.e., 9 AM morning shift and the other one is in the evening shift at 3 PM. the duration of the exams will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
