The Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced that the CBSE board exam results will be disclosed by 15th August 2020. The class 10 and 12 results of CBSE will be released one after the other in a few days. The Government is still in talks regarding the reopening of schools after August 2020 considering the current situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development hasn’t confirmed the date for reopening the schools across the nation. During a meeting, the HRD minister said, ‘We hope that the results of both 10th and 12th class will be declared by August 15. These include the results of previous exams and the results of examinations in July.’ The schools will be reopened likely after August 2020.
The Government will make a final decision regarding this situation post considering the current consequences of the nation. As per the latest news of HRD Ministry, the new sessions will be commenced across various universities after August 2020. On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to the HRD ministry regarding the schools reopen.
The education minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia announced in a letter that everyone must learn to live with coronavirus. It’s better to reopen schools by following various precautionary measures. The education minister also said that the government must assure the safety of every child which is highly important. Different private schools across the nation also gave some suggestions to the HRD ministry regarding the schools reopen amid the COVID-19 crisis.
As of now, the ministry is in plans to hold the remaining exams of 10th and 12th class students from 1st July to 15th July 2020. After wrapping up the exams, the education board will disclose the results. Further, the process of reopening schools and other educational institutions will commence.
