The Haryana School Education Board has made the latest announcement regarding the exams of class 10 students. Due to the coronavirus outbreak across the nation, different states have postponed the board level exams. Meanwhile, some of the states have promoted the students of classes 1 to 9 to the next class without exams. As the 10th class exams are very crucial, the respective boards have just postponed the exams until the lockdown period.
The Haryana board has decided not to conduct the class 10 pending examinations for the students. As per the latest announcement, the board officials will promote the 10th class students without conducting the pending exams. Except for the Science subject, the board has decided not to conduct the remaining exams. Considering the current risky situation across the nation, the board has come to this decision.
The board also provided a facility that the students who are willing to write any paper need to send an application. The Chairman of Haryana board Jagbir Singh has announced this news officially to the students. However, the board hasn’t taken any decision about conducting the 12th class exams. The Chairman further said that the exams of class 12 and class 10 subjects will be organized at a time. The board will announce the exact schedule for the exams after the completion of the lockdown period.
The class 10 subjects that the students need to appear to include Sanskrit, Physical education, science, computer science, Agriculture, and Urdu. Some of the elective exams include banking, ITES, media entertainment, IT, and Punjabi. This year, more than 7 lakh students have registered to take part in the class 12 board exams. Among them, above 3 lakh students will take up the secondary exams. The remaining 2 lakh students will take part in the senior secondary exams.
