The Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar announced that the students of classes 1 to 8 will be promoted without exams. The official announcement has been made on Sunday through the official website. Due to the country-wide lockdown for 21 days till 14th April 2020, the Government of Haryana has decided to promote the students of classes 1 to 8.
During the ongoing 10th class board examinations in the state, the Government has imposed the nation-wide lockdown. As a result, the Haryana Government hadn’t conducted the Science exam for the 10th students. Through the official statement, the candidates will be informed soon about conducting the exams for the remaining subjects.
Meanwhile, all the people in the state are advised to follow precautionary measures to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic. The CM of Haryana also urged people to stay at home and maintain social distancing even during the festivals. In the second week of April, there are some of the festivals including Baisakhi that the people of Haryana will celebrate.
At the time of rejoicing the festivals also, people are asked to maintain social distancing. As per the notice from the Chief Minister of Haryana, the students of classes 1 to 8 can enroll in the next class respectively soon after the school reopens. Even, the 11th class students will be promoted to the subsequent class without taking part in the Maths exam. Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the remaining subjects, the officials will promote them to the next class.
