ICSI Postpones CS June Exams and Merges with December Session Amid Coronavirus

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India [ICSI] has planned to combine the Company Secretaries [CS] June 2020 exams with the CS December 2020 session exams. This collaboration will be applied for various exams such as professional, executive, foundation, and post membership qualification courses. For executive and professional exams, it includes both the old and new syllabus.

ICSI Merges CS June Exams with December

Amid the rapid increase in the COVID-19 cases across the nation, ICSI said in an official notice that it ensures the safety of all. The notice also reads that the health and well-being of the stakeholders at ICSI has been the most important thing than anything else. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing measures, and lockdown constraints, ICSI has decided to combine the June and December 2020 exams.

After merging both the exams, the June session ICSI exam will begin on 21st December 2020. As of now, the officials haven’t released the precise datesheet for the exams. However, the detailed schedule will be issued separately and published on the official website. The candidates who had already registered for June exams need not apply for December session exams separately, reads the official notice.

The students who hadn’t applied for the ICSI exams of the June 2020 session can register now. The candidates can submit an application form online between 26th July and 25th September 2020 without any late fee. The students can submit the application form with a late fee till 9th October 2020. Speaking about the exams for the students of Company Secretaries Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), the authorities will issue a separate notice online.
