Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board is likely to hold the SSLC examination in June 2020. S. Suresh Kumar, the Education Minister of Karnataka announced the probable schedule for the exams. During a Facebook live session on Tuesday, the minister informed about the exam tentative schedule. As per the announcement of the minister, the Karnataka 10th class exams will be organized in the 3rd or 4th week of June 2020.
The revised schedule of the 10th class exams will be announced at least a week before the commencement of the exam. Meanwhile, the students will get adequate time for the preparation. Due to the ongoing lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Karnataka State Government has postponed the 10th class exams. Earlier, the officials have scheduled to hold the exams from 29th March 2020. However, the exams were postponed due to the coronavirus crisis.
Now, there is a slight change in the COVID-19 cases across the state. Recently, the Central Government announced that the lockdown will be extended till 17th May 2020. Considering the lockdown period, the board officials of the state have planned to conduct the exams for the 10th students. During the Facebook live session, the minister informed the same thing to the students and parents. As per the reports, about 18 lakh candidates have applied for the SSLC exam 2020.
On the other hand, the concerned authorities have disclosed the PUC-I result 2020 on 5th May i.e., on Tuesday. About 6.53 lakh students have taken part in the exam. The aspiring students can access their results from the official website. The results of the PUC-I exam are now available to access at the SuVidya web portal.
