In the current perilous condition of the nation due to the coronavirus crisis, the education system has witnessed a series of unexpected changes. All the state-level and national-level competitive and board exams were postponed due to this pandemic. In such a situation, the nation is striving hard to provide at least digital education to the students. As part of that, the HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal launched a new app for the students preparing for NEET and JEE Main 2020 exams.
The new app is the National Test Abhyaas which is now available to access on Android devices. Soon, the concerned developers will bring this app to the iOS platform as well. The significance of this app is that it provides one complete question paper for 3 hours for JEE Main and NEET students. The interested aspirants can take up this test irrespective of the time and place.
After finishing the test, this app automatically generates the scores instantly. Besides displaying the scores, it also provides the right answers alongside proper explanations. It even analyzes the time on different sections the student has spent whilst writing the exam.
The HRD Minister explained the importance and benefits of this app for the ambitious students preparing for NEET and JEE Main exams 2020. He said, ‘After receiving multiple requests from students regarding the preparation for competitive exams, I advised NTA to create an app that will aid students to prepare for these exams efficiently.’
NTA has designed and developed this app to help students in practicing mock tests for the upcoming exams. All the students across different parts of the nation can practice the test papers for free. Moreover, the candidates can download the tests with much ease, said the minister.
Speaking about the exams, the concerned authorities have scheduled to hold the JEE Main exam from 18th July to 23rd July 2020. On the other hand, the NEET 2020 has been scheduled to conduct on 26th July. The officials have planned to conduct the JEE Advanced on 23rd August.
The concerned conducting body of these exams has made necessary arrangements to conduct the exams safely and securely. Due to the nationwide lockdown and the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, these exams have been deferred by NTA. Now, the revised schedule has been released by the corresponding officials.
