NEET 2020 Result to be Announced on October 16

The National Testing Agency has decided to release the NEET 2020 result on 16th October 2020. The aspiring contenders who have appeared for the Medical entrance examination can access their result on the official website i.e., at The organizing body has planned to hold the NEET re-exam on 14th October 2020 for the candidates who couldn’t appear for the entrance exam in September.

NTA issued a statement that reads, ‘As per the revised SOP by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare…candidates who were COVID-19 positive or in containment zones had to appear the aforesaid exam on a later date, in view of the safety of the other candidates and exam personnel.’ The contenders who were not able to appear for the entrance exam on 13th September 2020 for being a COVID-19 positive case or residing in containment zones can take part in the NEET re-examination 2020.

As per the latest news, the NEET re-examination will be conducted between 2 PM and 5 PM on 14th October. The candidates are suggested to visit the official NEET website i.e., at to read the guidelines and download the admit card to appear in the special examination. Last month, out of the total number of applicants, more than 13 lakh candidates have appeared for the test, said the education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
