Intending to render technology-based education to the students in the nation, Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister announced the vital education plans of the Government. The Government has decided to bring new schemes in the country to offer quality education for aspiring students. Several education-related schemes have been announced by the Finance Minister providing equity to all the students.
The officials have considered poor students with no-internet connection will also be able to access online education. For providing that service, the Indian Government has initiated the Swayam Prabha DTH channels. As per the latest scheme, the concerned authorities have decided to launch a total of 15 channels. The authorities have already added 3 channels and the remaining 12 channels will be added soon.
The Government has tie-ups with popular DTH operators such as Airtel Digital TV and Tata Sky to improve the availability of these channels under Swayam Prabha schemes. The aforementioned DTH operators will air the educational stuff to increase the reach of these channels to all the students. The students who are unable to access high-speed internet will be able to access the educational stuff at least 4 hours every day.
For that, the Government has been seeking coordination from the state governments to share airtime of 4 hours daily on these channels. As per the latest scheme, the government also planned to add 200 new textbooks to the e-pathshala. Various changes have come into action in the field of education by the Government. All these changes have been planned by the Government to offer equity education to the students after the COVID-19 lockdown in India.
Different community students in the society need to facilitate the new education schemes, as per the latest announcement by the Finance Minister. Some of the changes in the educational schemes include Manodarpan, PM eVidya, new curriculum, and more. Get to know more educational news and other updates on this website.
