The National Testing Agency has declared the JEE Main results for the February session. Only 6 students scored 100 percentile in the entrance examination. The candidates can check their results and score on the official website i.e., nta.ac.in, jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in. The concerned authorities have released the final answer key of JEE Main exam on Sunday night on the aforementioned websites.
Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, the Education Minister posted a tweet on his official Twitter handle. Till last year, the exams were held in 3 languages. But, this time, the officials have conducted the exams in 13 languages. Moreover, the results of JEE Main have been disclosed in 10 days, said the minister. The students who scored 100 percentile in the entrance examination are Saket Jha from Rajasthan, Guramrit Singh from Chandigarh, Ranjim Prabal Das, and Pravar Kataria from Delhi, Ananth Krishna Kidambi from Gujarat, and Siddhant Mukherjee from Maharashtra.
A total of 10 female students have secured more than 99 percentile under the girls’ category. For the February session JEE Main examination, a total of 6.61 lakh students have applied for the examination. Out of the total, 6.52 lakh candidates have registered for the BE/B.Tech exam. Every year, the JEE Main exam will be conducted to provide admissions into topmost premium engineering colleges.
This year, JEE Main exam was held between 23rd February and 26th February 2021 by following proper precautions including social distancing, sanitizers, and face masks considering the COVID-19 pandemic. In the September 2020 session, a total of 649612 students have appeared for the JEE Main examination. More than 8 lakh students have attempted the January session of JEE Main exam.
