The State Government of Rajasthan is likely to hold the 10th and 12th class board exams post lifting the nationwide lockdown. Govind Singh Dotasra, the Education Minister of Rajasthan gave a hint regarding the board exams for the 10th and 12th class students. Before that, several rumors were spreading across the internet about the cancellation of board exams.
Earlier, the officials of the state education board have decided to organize the board exams from 19th March 2020. Due to the outbreak of the perilous COVID-19 pandemic, the authorities have postponed the exams. After hinting about the pending board exams, the education minister has given clarification. He said that the Government will soon release an official notice informing the detailed schedule of the board exams at least 10 days before the exam initiation.
The Minister also added that the board exams for 10th and 12th students probably hold the exams in the first week of June 2020. The Government of Rajasthan is currently following necessary precautionary measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. He further added that the Government is seeking to set up additional exam venues to ensure there is an adequate gap between two examinees.
At the time of holding the Class X and XII exams, the concerned authorities have planned to follow these vital precautionary measures. Before imposing the nationwide lockdown, the officials of the state board have left with 3 papers for the class 10 students. On the other hand, the class 12 students are yet to write the exams of the papers such as English, Mathematics, Geography, Hindi, and more.
