The education board of Tamil Nadu has wrapped up the evaluation process of 12th answer sheets on Tuesday. The evaluation was finished in about 200 exam venues in the state. For carrying out the evaluation process of about 50 lakh answer scripts, the board assigned a total of 40000 teachers. Even after the completion of the evaluation process, the declaration of the results might be deferred. This is due to the confusion regarding the result announcement. The reason is that the state government has postponed the exam for the students who hadn’t written the exam.
The Government has witnessed a total of 34000 absentees for the examination. The exam for those absentees will be organized on 18th June 2020. Now, the government also postponed those exams on Tuesday. One of the officials of the school education department said, ‘The evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets was over, In many centers, they have started to evaluate Class 11 answer sheets. The marks of candidates have been uploaded from the evaluation centers. The results processing would take another 10 days.’
According to the sources, the results of the 12th class exams likely to be released by 20th June 2020. The Directorate of Government Examinations is seeking to find out the total number of absentees. The source says ‘If many of them did not attend other exams, we may release the results.’
On the other hand, the government of Telangana has cancelled the board exams of 10th and 11th classes. As per the latest announcement of the state Chief Minister, the current condition isn’t convincing to conduct the exams across the state. An exponential increase in the total number of COVID-19 cases has been witnessed in Tamil Nadu. Get to know the latest updates about the results, pending exams, and more on this website.
