The State Government of Telangana has finally issued official orders to promote the students of classes from 1 to 9 to the next class without conducting exams. Chitra Ramachandran, the Special Chief Secretary of the State Government issued this official order recently. As per the latest order, all the private and Government schools in the state will follow this order.
The Government made this decision considering the nationwide lockdown amid the COVID-19 outbreak. This order will be implemented by all the aided, private unaided, and Government schools across Telangana state. During a special cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekhar Rao took this decision. All the students pursuing classes 1 to 9 in various schools will be mass promoted to the next grades without holding exams.
Recently, the Telangana Government decided to conduct the 10th class exams for the aspirants in May itself amid the ongoing lockdown. By following the precautionary measures like social distancing and other steps, the officials will hold TS 10th class exams for the applicants.
An abstract order has been issued recently by the State Government of Telangana. The notice reads, ‘School Education Department – COVID-19 pandemic – Promoting all the students of Classes I to IX studying in Government, Aided and Private Unaided Schools during the Academic Year, 2019-20, to next higher classes in the academic year, 2020-21 – orders – issued.’
It’s a huge sigh of relief for the aspiring students and parents in the state. Due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic across the state, the parents of 10th class students were highly worried about the exams.
