Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad [UPMSP] has decided to commence the evaluation process of the 10th and 12th exams only in green zone areas. As per the latest announcement, the evaluation session begins on 5th May 2020. The UP education board has set up a total of 20 districts across the state to carry out the evaluation procedure.
It includes Ballia, Fatehpur, Kanpur Dehat, Mahoba, Sonbhadra, Amethi, Hathras, Shahjahanpur, Kushi Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Lalitpur, Deoria, Chitrakoot, Hamirpur, Farrukhabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Chandauli, Kheri, Maharajganj, and Barabanki. The list of districts wherein the evaluation process is organized has been mentioned in the circular issued by the UP Government.
The official circular also informed that the schedule for the initiation of the evaluation process in red and orange zones will be announced soon. Previously, Neena Shrivastava, the board secretary said that more than 3 crore answer papers of 10th and 12th class exams are yet to be evaluated. For those answer scripts, the evaluation will begin today.
The secretary further said that the evaluation process will be wrapped up by 25th May 2020. Once the evaluation is done, the concerned authorities will disclose the results of UP 10th and 12th classes. If everything goes as per the schedule, the ambitious students won’t miss their academics in the upcoming year. This year, a total of 5689622 candidates have applied for the 10th and 12th class board exams.
The UP Government has commenced the digital classes for those students via various online platforms. Some of them include WhatsApp and virtual classes for the students via Doordarshan [DD]. Meanwhile, 42.56 lakh candidates have registered and joined the digital classes as of now. The concerned officials have commenced airing the virtual classes for the students from 1st May on the Swayamprabha channel of Doordarshan. Every day, the authorities will hold 4 classes for the ambitious students for about 30 minutes for each class.
