UP Board to Commence Evaluation Process of Class 10, 12 Exams from 4th May 2020

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has announced that it will start the evaluation session of 10th and 12th answer scripts from 4th May 2020. On Tuesday, the HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank organized a webinar alongside the education ministers of different states. After the completion of the video conference, Dinesh Sharma, the Deputy CM of Uttar Pradesh announced the evaluation procedure.

As per the announcement, the evaluation procedure of 10th and 12th board exams will commence from 4th May i.e., after the nationwide lockdown. After lifting the lockdown, the delayed exams will be organized. During the video conference, the HRD Minister directed all the state education ministers to commence the evaluation process for various board exam answer papers. He asked the ministers to support CBSE in carrying out the evaluation session.

The Government of Uttar Pradesh earlier initiated the digital classes for the students from 20th April. The online classes are being conducted via WhatsApp, as per the latest reports. More than 42.56 lakh students are taking part in the digital classes. The State Government is also planning to initiate a new YouTube channel to hold the virtual classes until the current situation comes back to the normal condition.

After imposing a nationwide lockdown by the Central Government, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the mass promotion of students from classes 1 to 8. This promotion was applied to the Government’s primary schools in the state. As per the latest reports, the board will declare the results of 10th and 12th board exams at the end of May 2020. More than 589622 students registered for taking part in the 10th and 12th class examinations this year.
