The Government of Uttarakhand recently asked all the private and government educational organizations to commence regular online classes from 21st April 2020. Amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic across the state, the Government has decided to start online classes ensuring the safety of the students. The main intention of the government is that no student’s education is affected due to the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown.
The State Government has released a GO on 17th April i.e., on Friday announcing the shut down of schools and other educational institutions. The GO has been passed to prevent the further outbreak of COVID-19. Moreover, it has been showing an immense impact on the studies of college students. Hence, the order says that all the private and government institutes, universities and other colleges should commence the regular online classes as per the schedule.
Through the GO, the Government directed the educational institutions to begin online classes should begin from 21st April 2020. The order further stated that the online classes must be organized through various platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Skype and others. The Government also asked the concerned authorities to record the online sessions.
The professors and the principals of various institutes will share the timetable with the students via WhatsApp messages and SMS. Even, the study materials and notes can be shared easily with the participants by uploading them on popular online platforms. Some of them include lie WhatsApp, YouTube, email, and the official website of the respective institution.
