West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has deferred the commencement of the WBJEE JECA 2020 registration. The authorities previously scheduled to begin the registration process from 3rd April 2020 to 16th April 2020. The original schedule has been changed due to the COVID-19 outbreak across the nation. Keeping in mind the exponential rise of the corona cases in India, the board has to take this decision.
As a result, the WBJEE JECA 2020 application process has been deferred. As per the latest notice, the new dates for JECA 2020 registration will be notified soon on the official website. The official notice reads, ‘To combat the spread of COVID-19, WBJEEB has fixed to delay the online application process for JECA 2020.’ The notice further says that the new date for the registrations will be announced soon.
While the board has postponed the registrations, some are assuming a possibility in the postponement of the exam. Currently, we just received a notice regarding the delay in the registration process. The authorities haven’t announced the postponement of the exam on the official website. As per the previous schedule, the board will conduct WBJEE JECA 2020 on 27th June 2020. We presume that the board may not change the exam date.
In the meantime, the aspiring candidates can check the official notification carefully. By organizing all the essential documents for the application process, the candidates can finish it soon after the commencement.
