Balbharti, the Maharashtra State Bureau of Textbook Production and Curriculum Research have done something notable in the current lockdown period. All the schools and colleges across the nation were shut down due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this crucial time, the Government doesn’t want the future of the students to get disturbed. To help the students of 10th and 12th classes, the officials of the state have come up with the best decision.
Varsha Gaikwad, the School Education Minister announced that Balbharti has uploaded the academic material in PDF format for the aspirants. The students of classes 10 and 12 can easily download the study material i.e., textbooks for free. In the current lockdown condition nation-wide, it is highly impossible for Balbharti to distribute the academic material to the markets. On the other hand, the syllabus of class 12 has been revised and it will be implemented from this year.
The publishers of Balbharti have already uploaded the Class 10 textbooks in the previous year. On 8th April 2020, the department has uploaded 31 textbooks for the arts, science and commerce students. The books are available in two languages i.e., English and Marathi. On Wednesday, the Minister posted a tweet. The tweet reads, ‘In order to prevent the loss of 10th and 12th students in the situations arising out of the lockdown, the students of 10th and 12th will have their books available on the website in a pdf form.’
As the entire nation is striving hard to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, the state officials are working on a new process. Uday Samant, the Minister of Higher and Technical Education announced that the Institute of Chemical Technology is currently working on developing a ‘sanitizer tunnel’. Previously, this tunnel was already developed in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi, and Haryana. This tunnel can be used to sterilize the people who pass through it in just a few seconds.
These tunnels can be placed in various public areas such as hospital entrances, colleges, markets, bus and railways stations and more. Stay tuned to our website to know the latest news about educational updates, exams and more.
