The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, announced the addition of more than 1300 new seats for 9 courses at IP University starting this year. The Delhi CM announced this news on Wednesday during a press conference. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic continues the lives of people in their day to day lives. However, on behalf of the Government of Delhi, Sisodia has come up with good news for the candidates who have finished their graduation this year and seeking to pursue higher education in prevalent institutes.
He further added, the Government of Delhi has added 1330 new seats for 9 existing courses at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha [IP] University for the academic year 2020-21. The new seats will be added to the affiliated colleges of the IP University to the 9 existing courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Sisodia said that out of 1330 seats, the maximum number of seats have been allotted to B.Tech with a total of 630 seats.
The extra seats for the 9 courses have been allotted to different courses. It includes 20 seats for BVoc, 220 seats for BCom, 90 seats for BCA, 55 seats for MVoc, 120 seats for BBA, 120 seats for BA, 15 seats for MSc Yoga, and 60 seats for MBA. Intending to provide new opportunities to the candidates during an extremely challenging year, the Government has decided to add additional seats.
