The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has initiated its first-ever digital educational course. In the current era, the entire world is running based on digital platforms. During the current critical COVID-19 lockdown situation across the nation, virtual classrooms have become the reality. As per the latest announcement, the organization will conduct a 50-hours online educational course to the aspirants.
The topic is about the ‘Valuation of Securities or Financial Assets’. The online course will begin from 18th to 20th April and 23rd to 26th April 2020. The organization has released an official notice informing about the online educational course.
The latest notice reads, ‘In furtherance to protecting and supporting its esteemed members, ICSI – RVO has proposed various other continuous educational programs and initiatives like an invitation for development of research papers/case studies and development of MCQs on valuation-related topics. Top five research manuscripts will also be appropriately awarded cash prizes.’
The interested candidates can apply for the educational courses through the official website i.e., at icsirvo.in. The essential documents for the registration include Aadhaar Card, CoP/Experience Certificate [For the candidates with employment], PAN Card, Membership certificate and more. The Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India has deferred the CA examination.
Previously, the officials have scheduled to conduct the exam between 2nd and 18th May 2020. Now, the institute has decided to conduct the exam from 19th June 2020. As per the latest announcement, the foundation exam for the new course will be conducted on 27th and 29th June, 1st and 3rd July 2020.
According to the old scheme for Group I, the Intermediate course examination will be organized on 20th, 22nd, 24th, and 26th June.
