JEECUP 2020: Revised Dates to Apply for UPJEE Polytechnic Entrance Exam

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has disclosed the extended schedule for UPJEE 2020 online application submission. As per the latest update, the officials have postponed the examination schedule to submit the application forms online. As per the extended schedule, the candidates can submit their applications for UPJEE online till 20th April 2020. Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination [Polytechnic] is the entrance conducted every year to provide admissions into Polytechnic colleges.

The council authorities have confirmed the postponement of the UPJEE 2020 Polytechnic Exam on the official web portal. As per the notification, the JEECUP officials have decided to extend the last date for application submission to 20th April 2020. Besides the application submission schedule, the council has rescheduled the exam dates i.e., from 31st May to 1st June 2020. The ambitious candidates can wrap up the registration process for Polytechnic examinations by April 20.

Later, the aspirants have the option to edit the information in the application forms between 21st April and 24th April 2020. On the official website of the council, the candidates can find the notification regarding the postponement of JEECUP 2020. Earlier, the council has released the official notification to conduct the UPJEE 2020 exam on 26th April for Engineering stream. For other streams, the entrance exam was scheduled on 27th April 2020. 

Now, the council has revised the notification and rescheduled the UPJEE Polytechnic exam date. The notification also says that the applicants are permitted to submit the applications as per the norms. They can submit only one application in Group A, one in Group E1 or E2 and 1 in remaining groups. If they submit more than 1 application in any group, the candidate’s application will be declined.

The officials haven’t mentioned the reason behind the postponement of the Polytechnic examination. However, we expect the council has come to this decision due to country-wide lockdown to handle the COVID-19 pandemic.
