KIITEE 2020 Postponed: Online Registration Extended Until 20 April

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology [KIIT] has cancelled the KIITEE 2020 which was scheduled to organize between 14th and 23rd April 2020. The University officials have postponed the exam but they hadn’t disclosed the reason behind the delay. However, earlier the University authorities have mentioned that the exam may be postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. So, it might be the reason behind the postponement of the KIITEE 2020 exam.

Apart from this, the University also extended the dates for the submission of online applications. Earlier, the candidates have started the registrations for KIITEE 2020 from 16th November 2019. The officials have given the last date for the submission of application forms as 30th March 2020. Now, the officials have extended the last date to 20th April 2020. Before the lockdown, the relevant authorities planned to conduct the exam in April.

The officials have only released the notice to intimate the candidates regarding the postponement and date extension for the registrations. In a simple notice, the officials have informed the aspirants about the KIITEE 2020 postponement. The notice reads, ‘The last date to apply online for KIITEE-2020 is extended up to 20th April 2020. The revised dates for the KIITEE-2020 Online Entrance Examination will be notified soon.’

As of now, there is no official announcement about the slot booking schedule, revised exam dates and admit card availability. However, the candidates are advised to visit the official website time-to-time to check the latest updates. The authorities of the University had to extend the last date due to the problems being faced by the candidates during registrations.

Some of them couldn’t pay the application fee online or offline due to the lockdown. Keeping this in mind, the officials have extended the deadline following the postponement of KIITEE 2020. We expect the University might come up with a new schedule after the 14th April 2020 lockdown.
