Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is likely to postpone the release date of HSC exam 2020 results. Earlier, the officials had planned to disclose the result by 10th June 2020. Due to the pending evaluation process of class 12 answer scripts, the board has postponed the result declaration.
Recently, the education minister of Maharashtra, Uday Samant tipped that the HSC exam result will be postponed. Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic across the nation, the state government has commenced the evaluation session lately. The concerned authorities have commenced the evaluation on 18th May 2020. The officials of the board have been carefully monitoring the entire process.
As of now, the board is gathering all the answer sheets of the students from various exam venues and post offices. The teachers who took part in the evaluation session delivered answer scripts after wrapping the checking process. As per the latest report, the MSBSHSE HSC exam result is likely to be deferred by a month. The HSC results are anticipated to release in the 1st week of July 2020.
More than 1.5 million candidates are eagerly anticipating for the 12th class result this year. Previously, the officials of the board organized the HSC exams between 18th February and 20th March 2020 across 9 regions in the state. After the declaration of the 12th class result sometime in July, the candidates can check it easily from the official website.
In recent times, the education board of the state cancelled the Geography examination for 10th class students. That paper was cancelled on 13th April 2020 due to the spread of the COVID-19 crisis. The board further said that the candidates will be given average marks to promote them to the next class. To award an average score for Geography paper, the board said that they will be considering the marks of students in the remaining 5 subjects.
