Maharashtra Launches Four New YouTube Channels for Students

The State Government of Maharashtra has launched 4 new YouTube channels to help the school students across the state on Friday. Intending to render quality education to the students, the Maharashtra State Council for Educational Research has made this initiative. The new YouTube channels are available for the students of Urdu and Marathi medium between classes 1 and 10. Varsha Gaikwad, the school education minister of the state informed the new YouTube channels will be available in Marathi and Urdu. Further, the council will teach the students in Hindi and English mediums.

The education minister made this official announcement through her official social media account. The post reads, ‘The State Council for Educational Research and Training has started four YouTube channels for Marathi and Urdu medium students from 1st to 10th standard. Coming soon for Hindi and English mediums as well.’ She further added, ‘A total of 12 channels have been launched on Geo TV for Class 3 to Class 12. Maharashtra is the only state which has started educational channels in 4 mediums.’

On Wednesday, the Government issued an official order directing all the schools across the state to organize online classes for all the students. The online sessions will be offered to the students of classes 1 to 12, informed the government to the schools through an official order. The online classes for the pre-primary students will be organized daily starting from Monday to Friday. Each session lasts for about 30 minutes. During the classes, the teachers will interact with the parents of the students. The teachers will guide the parents regarding the education of the students.

The classes for 1st and 2nd class students will be conducted in a total of 2 sessions for about 30 minutes. In the first 15 minutes-session, teachers will interact with parents. In the 2nd half session, they will teach students about activity-based learning. For the students of classes 3 to 8, two online sessions will be conducted for about 45 minutes each daily. For the students of classes 9 to 12, 4 online sessions for 45 minutes each will be organized, said the education minister. Stay tuned to this website for more educational news.
