The National Testing Agency [NTA] has reopened the NEET-UG, JEE Main 2020 application correction window on 1st April 2020. On the official portals of the relevant authorities i.e., at jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaneet.nic.in, the candidates can begin making necessary corrections. Earlier, the NTA has deferred the JEE Main and NEET exams scheduled to be organized in April and May respectively.
Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic across the nation, the officials have postponed the exams. The ambitious candidates who are waiting to make corrections in their NEET-UG and JEE Main application forms can visit the official websites before 14th April 2020. As per the latest announcement, the NTA authorities have decided to conduct both the exams in the last week of May 2020 at allotted exam venues.
The official notice reads, ‘In view of the hardships faced by the aspirants of NEET (UG)-2020 and JEE Mains 2020 in making corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Form due to COVID19 epidemic, the National Testing Agency has further given the facility for making corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Form.’
The ambitious candidates have the facility to pay the requisite fee via net banking or UPI or credit or debit card and Paytm. If there is any additional fee, it can also be paid through the aforementioned gateways.
The latest statement from NTA reads, ‘The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates. In case, additional fee payment is required depending on the changes made in the form, the final updates will be reflected after the payment.’
