CET is a state level entrance exam conducted every year. The main motive of conducting the exam is to provide admission into various government and private institutions present in the state of Maharashtra. Qualified candidates of the entrance exam will be given admissions into Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy programmes. The exam will be held in online mode, which means it is a Computer Based Test (CBT). According to the schedule released, the exam will be held in the 2nd week of May 2020. - Applicants must be of Indian nationality only. Candidates belonging to other nationalities are not allowed to apply for the exam. In case if they apply, the applications shall be rejected by the authority.
- Applicants must have passed 10+2 exam or its equivalent from recognized Board or University.
- Other than qualifying in intermediate exam or its equivalent, applicants must have also secured minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam. For reserved category candidates, the minimum percentage of marks is 45%.
- Also, candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for the CET exam.
