SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (JEEE), as the name suggests is an entrance exam conducted online by SRM University. The exam is organized every year by the university in order to offer admissions to the merit candidates of the exam. It is a university level exam conducted annually to provide admissions into undergraduate engineering courses in the university. SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2020
The university has scheduled the JEEE exam to be held in the third week of April this year as per the SRMJEEE Important Dates. Candidates willing to apply for SRMJEEE should fill in the application forms in online or offline modes. Candidates need to submit the application fee while submitting the application forms. Before heading towards any of these processes, candidates should first check their eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. Candidates should apply for the JEEE conducted by SRM only if they satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the university. Students who don’t satisfy the criteria will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The applications will not be accepted in first place by the university. SRMJEEE Age Limit
Applicants of SRMJEEE should be born between July 1, 1998 to July 1, 2003 are only eligible to apply for the exam.
Nationality
Applicants of the JEEE exam conducted by SRM can be both Indian nationals or NRIs. Also, PIO or OCI card holders are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Educational Qualification
Applicants should have passed 12th or equivalent exam to apply for the SRMJEEE exam 2020.
Minimum Marks
Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% in PCM (for Kanthalkulathar Campus), 50% in PCM (For Ghaziabad (NCR), Sonipat, Ramapur campuses) and 75% in PCM (For SRM Amravati Campus) to apply for the entrance exam.
Direct Admission Criteria
Other than the above mentioned criteria, SRMJEEE Eligibility 2020 also includes direct admission criteria that involves, top 100 rankers in IIT JEE, Top rankers of central & state board of examination and Top rankers from each district of Tamil Nadu & exemplary sports person at national & International level. These candidates will be directly given admission into the SRM University without the need to taking the entrance exam.
