SRM Institute of Science and Technology formerly known as SRM University is one of the top ranking universities in India. It offers wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, and Medicine. The university is currently accepting applications from the aspirants for the JEEE exam 2020. It has released an official notification intimating the students of the country who are aspiring to join under graduate and post graduate courses into SRM University to apply for the exam by filling in the SRMJEEE Application Form 2020.
Update: SRMJEE Application form registration started on 12th October 2019 and exams will be conducted from 12th April 2020 to 20th April 2020.
SRMJEEE Application Form
SRM Institute has invited applications from the eligible candidates from all across the country and also outside the country to apply for the exam. Eligible applicants shall be informed by the board shortly to appear for the exam through an admit card. The selected candidates of the exam will be given admission into UG Engineering courses. The online application process will start from last week of October 2020. The exam will be held in the month of April this year. The SRMJEEE Application Form 2020 shall be available both in online and offline modes.
Students can submit the forms in any of the ways they feel comfortable with. Students who are willing to apply online for the SRM conducted JEEE exam can open the official website of SRM University and fill the form. Also, candidates need to submit the application form before the last date without any delay. Application forms submitted after the due date are considered cancelled by the university.
SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria is the first step taken by the university in shortlisting the candidates for the exam. Most of the candidates get shortlisted at this stage itself. Students who satisfy all the criteria as mentioned by the university will only be able to sit for the online entrance exam. The SRMJEEE 2020 Application Form of the students who don’t satisfy the criteria and still apply for the exam will be rejected by the university. So, students should be careful while checking the eligibility criteria and apply only if they have all the criteria as required by the SRM. The eligibility criteria usually includes age, nationality, educational qualification, marks etc.
Age Limit
The age limit of the candidates to apply for SRMJEEE should fall between July 1, 1998 to July 1, 2003.
Nationality
The nationality of the applicants of the JEEE exam should be Indian nationals or NRIs. Card holders of PIO or OCI issued by the Government of Indian are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Educational Qualification
Contenders applying for SRMJEEE should have minimum educational qualification of class 12th or equivalent to appear for the JEEE SRM exam 2020.
Minimum Marks
Another criteria that the applicants must satisfy in order to appear for the SRMJEEE is marks. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% in PCM (for Kanthalkulathar Campus), 50% in PCM (For Ghaziabad (NCR), Sonipat, Ramapur campuses) and 75% in PCM (For SRM Amravati Campus) to apply for the entrance exam.
Direct Admission Criteria
The university also permits direct admissions to those students who fall under: top 100 rankers in IIT JEE, Top rankers of central & state board of examination and Top rankers from each district of Tamil Nadu & exemplary sports person at national & International level. Candidates who satisfy the above mentioned criteria will be given direct admissions into the SRM University.
SRMJEEE Application Form Important Dates
The important dates of the SRMJEE are as follows:
- SRMJEEE 2020 application forms commences from – 12th October 2020
- Last date to submit OMR application forms – 29th February 2020
- Last date to submit online application forms – 30th March 2020
- Application forms corrections last date – 2nd week of April 2020
- Slot booking date – 1st week of April 2020
- SRMJEEE 2020 Hall ticket release – 2nd week of April 2020
- SRMJEEE Exam date 2020 – 12th April to 20th April 2020

How To Apply For SRMJEEE
In order to fill in the SRMJEEE application form, students need to follow the steps that were listed below by us. We have also followed the official procedure laid by the university in filling the application form. So, candidates need not worry about any mistakes and follow the steps as guided below.
Step 1 – Registration
Students should first start the registration process by visiting the official website of SRM. The registration process includes inputting of details like:
- Name of the candidate
- Email ID
- Mobile Number
- Password
- City and State
- Enter the text/captcha which will be displayed on the web page
Note: An email will be sent to the registered email address of the candidate on successful completion of the registration and candidates need to click on the link to activate the account.
Step-2 – Log in to the account
Candidates need to login into their account that was created in the earlier step by providing their credentials. In this step read all the instructions carefully and then choose the nationality after which click on ‘Next’ button.
Step 3 – Application form filling
Now it is time to fill the application form online. Candidates need to fill in the application form without any mistakes. The details to be filled in the application form include:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Specialization Preferences 1, 2 and 3
- Test City Preferences 1, 2 and 3
- Alternate Email ID
- Blood Group
- Social Status
- Are you Differently Abled (No/Yes)
On successful filling of the application details, click on ‘Next’ button.
Step-4: Parent’s and Address Details
As the name suggests, candidates are asked to fill in the details of parent’s and address details. The details include:
- Father’s name, email ID & mobile number
- Mother’s name, email ID & mobile number
- Address
- City
- District
- State
- Pincode
- Country
Step-5: Academic Details
- In this step, candidates need to fill in academic details. The details include:
- Candidate’s Name as in 10th Certificate
- Current Education Qualification Status
- Institute Name of Class 10 & 12
- Board
- Marking Scheme
- Secured CGPA/Percentage
- Registration Number &
- Year of Passing
Step-6: Payment of Application Fee
In this step, candidates need to pay the application fee. To do so, click on “Make Payment”. The application fee for SRMJEEE exam 2020 is Rs. 1160 for offline mode payment and Rs. 1100 for Online mode payment.
- If you are paying online, do so by clicking on debit card/credit card/net banking/mobile/cash card payments/Wallet/Paytm/UPI options.
- For offline payment, take a Demand Draft of Rs. 1100 in favour of “SRMIST” Payable at Chennai.
The offline application form as well as the DD should be sent to the address given below before SRM Application Form Last Date.

Step 7 – Uploading of Documents
As a last step, candidates need to submit the scanned copies of the documents as mentioned by the university in its notification. The required documents are:
- Recent color passport size photograph
- Signature
- Class 10 and 12 Marksheet
- Details of Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking
After successfully uploading all the necessary documents, read the declaration and hit on ‘Submit Application’ option.
