Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is all prepped to commence the Engineering Entrance Exam for the students this year. The university has rolled out the notification through which it informed all the interested contenders to apply to appear for the online entrance exam. Contenders willing to apply for the VIT conducted exam should go through the VITEEE Syllabus first. The syllabus will help the students know the exact topics that are to be covered in the exam.
VITEEE 2020 Syllabus
VITEEE syllabus plays a key role in the preparation of the exams. Applicants must and should be aware of the syllabus of the entrance exam in order to take a step ahead with their preparation. VIT has already released the updated syllabus of the VITEEE and is available in the official website for download. Students who want to be a part of the VITEEE can make use of the opportunity and download the syllabus as soon as possible. The main purpose of conducting VITEEE is to provide admissions into four campuses of Vellore University based on the merit of the students in the Entrance Exam. Once students are aware of the syllabus, it will be helpful for them to go further with their preparation.
Students need to note that the exam will be pretty touch as lakhs of candidates will attempt it. Students who have completed their +2 are eligible to take the exam. Students from all across the country along with NRI students take part in the VITEEE exam every year. This year it is expected that around 14 lakh students appear for the exam. So, students should download the VITEEE 2020 Syllabus without further delay and start their preparation accordingly. The syllabus will help the students find the important topics to read and the topics to leave out. It is advised to the students to take a printout of the syllabus and keep a copy of it with them as it comes to help at the time of exam preparation.
VITEEE 2020 will be held in April. As there is not much time left for the exams, the board has released syllabus for all the three major subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus is based on class 12th syllabus only. It will be as per the guidelines of the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE syllabus prescribed for class 11th and 12th. VITEEE Syllabus for Physics
The syllabus for the subject Physics covers topics like: Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Electric Current, Optics, Nuclear Physics, Semiconductor Devices and their Applications, etc.
VITEEE Syllabus for Chemistry
The topics to be covered from Chemistry include: Atomic Structure, Thermodynamics, Chemical Equilibrium and Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Chemistry and Solid State Chemistry, Carbonyl Compounds, Alcohols and Ethers, Electrochemistry, etc.
VITEEE Syllabus for Mathematics
Mathematics subject topics are: Trigonometry and Complex Numbers, Matrices and their Applications, Analytical Geometry of Two Dimensions, Vector Algebra, Differential Equations, Calculus, etc.
VITEEE Syllabus for Biology
Biology subject topics are: Human health and diseases, Biotechnology and its applications, Biochemistry, Taxonomy, Biodiversity, Reproduction, Ecology and Environment, Cell and Molecular Biology, etc.
VITEEE Syllabus for English & Aptitude
English syllabus contains: Grammar, Comprehension, Passages, Pronunciation, etc.
Aptitude Topics are: Number series, Clocks, Data Interpretation, Syllogism, etc.
